I have had one birthday after another between friends and family. I made this quick and easy card for my best friend.
The card and base were from Abstract Beauty Cards & Envelopes (158050), the shapes were cut from the Abstract Beauty 4” x 6” Specialty Designer Series Paper (158039) using the Beautiful Shapes Dies (158046) . The bling was gold accents from the Abstract Beauty Ephemera Pack (158151) and Adhesive-Backed Hexagons (158148). This seems like a lot of different products but they are all included in the Abstract Beauty Suite. I used Memento tuxedo black ink (132708) to stamp the two sentiments. The “happy birthday” sentiment on the front came from the Wildflower Path Stamp Set (157735) and the insides sentiment came from the Hello Beautiful Stamp Set (158041). The Hello Beautiful Stamp Set is part of the Abstract Beauty Suite (158052).
The Stampin’ Up Abstract Beauty Suite (158052) includes everything you need except the Memento tuxedo black ink and the ‘Happy Birthday’ sentiment that is included in many other stamp sets.
Cutting Dimensions:
· Card base and envelope used as purchased
· Hexagons: Three hexagons were cut from the specialty DSP. There are 4 hexagon dies and arbitrarily I’m calling the smallest one #1 and the largest one #4.
The largest hexagon was cut with the largest die (my #4) from a piece 3” X 3”
The second and third hexagons were cut at the same time from a piece 3” X 3”
The gold and white one was cut with two dies (my #2 and #4) nested together to make to make the gold and white hexagon outline. The pink and white dotted one is the center of gold and white flipped to the other side.
· Oval with Sentiment was cut with the large oval die in the set using basic white cardstock (159276) scrap 2” X 3”
